Sliding doors
Sliding doors - space saving at its best
In room designs where optimum use of space is important, an interesting idea is the use of sliding doors. This makes it possible to create additional space and optically enlarge the area of a flat or office. The sliding system offered by POL-SKONE is a solution that combines functionality with modern design.
For interior designers, it is quite a challenge to optimally arrange rooms to maximise usable space. For this reason, it is worth considering the use of sliding doors instead of traditional swing doors already at the design stage. Such a solution has many advantages - it allows not only to save additional space, but also to separate individual areas of the house in an interesting way. An exceptionally tasteful proposal are sliding sashes by POL-SKONE. Rich colours and a selection of models in an unusual way combine classic elegance of wood with innovative design, giving the rooms a stylish character.
Small footprint in style
In flats with limited space, sliding doors make it possible to create impressive movable walls to create additional free space. Thanks to such a system, it is easy to separate different zones in the house: working area, wardrobe or children's room. It is a perfect proposal for enthusiasts of large spacious kitchens, which, if necessary, can be separated from the rest of the home. POL-SKONE offers three methods of installing sliding doors: built-in in the wall, wall-mounted and wall-mounted PREMIUM.
Functional system of the highest quality to fit any interior
The in-wall sliding mounting system allows the door leaf to be completely hidden within the wall. This provides the space that would remain unused with a standard door leaf. This increases the usable area of the flat and offers greater design possibilities. The simplest method of fitting a built-in door is to install the sliding system in the middle of the plasterboard wall. As standard, this system has a hook lock for locking and brushes for the system. In addition there is the option of a WC lock or a key lock.
Another equally practical and impressive solution may be to install the leaf in a wall-mounted system. In this case, it is necessary to install a special track on the wall, thanks to which the door leaf slides. The track is hidden in the so-called finishing tunnel, which makes the whole look very aesthetic. However, it should be remembered that the open door obscures a section of the wall, which makes it impossible to use it for design purposes. When installing sliding doors in the wall-mounted system, it is important to remember about solidly fixing the structure due to the loads and vibrations of the leaf, which may lead to its loosening. POL-SKONE offers two solutions: a wall-mounted system in which the elements, i.e. the fascia and sash, are in the same colour, and the PREMIUM wall-mounted system in which the fascia and guide are made of aluminium.
